I currently work as a Program Manager and Engagement Lead for the JournalismAI project at POLIS, the journalism think-tank at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

The news business is complicated and ever-evolving. It’s also exactly the sort of challenge that I enjoy solving and one that my 10+ year career in journalism has prepared me for.

Over the last decade, I’ve steered my career from news production to news reporting, to program design and management. In each of these roles, I gathered skills that help me understand the journalist, the newsroom technologist, and ultimately, the consumer. I’m drawn to work that helps me bridge all of these worlds.

Apart from technology, I believe that the next leg of journalism's evolution will largely be centred around news production that will empower citizen communities. I’m always open to contributing to projects and organisations that share this sentiment.
